Thursday, May 10:  7pm Queen Pageant @ Canton Palace Theatre!  Congrats to Elissa Prazer, 19, of Carrollton who was crowned the 2012 Pro Football Hall of Fame Enshrinement Festival Queen from a field of 53 contestants.  She was judged on the basis of personality, poise, beauty, communication skills, academic achievement and service to community.  Mix 94.1’s Kayleigh Kriss and News-Talk 1480 WHBC’s Ron Ponder once again emceed this exciting event.  Look for Queen Elissa and her court to join us during our many live broadcasts throughout the festival.
 

Friday July 20:  
6am Media Flight!  Mix 94.1’s Kayleigh Kriss and News-Talk 1480 WHBC’s Matt Fox lift off!  Listen that morning for ‘live from the sky” reports!

4pm Balloon Classic (Night Glow) / Jackson-Belden Food Fest @ KSU at Stark & Stark State College Campuses.  News-Talk 1480’s Sam Bourquin and Mix 94.1's Shawn Powers broadcast live starting at 3pm.  Shawn will hang out through the Night Glow starting at 7pm!

Saturday, July 21:  
6am Balloon Classic @ KSU at Stark & Stark State College Campuses.

4pm Balloon Classic / Jackson-Belden Food Fest & Fireworks @ KSU at Stark & Stark State College Campuses.  Mix 94.1’s Kathy Vogel broadcasts live 3pm-7pm and Kayleigh Kriss takes over at 7pm!

Sunday, July 29:  
8am 2-Mile & 5-Mile Races @ Pro Football Hall of Fame.  News-Talk 1480 WHBC’s Matt Fox and Dave Scheetz are your emcees!  Watch for Mix 94.1's Kayleigh Kriss and Don Guisinger during the 2-Mile race and WHBC Sports' Dan Belford in the 5-Mile!

2:30pm Community Parade @ Downtown Canton.  News-Talk 1480 WHBC’s Pam Cook, Matt Fox and Sam Bourquin are your radio and TV hosts from the WHBC broadcast site at Kresge Lot.  And watch for Ron Ponder and Brian Novak as well as Mix 94.1’s Kathy Vogel and Kayleigh Kriss riding in the parade.  This year’s parade features 130 units starting from 11th Street, traveling south on Market Avenue through downtown and disband around Second Street.   It will also be broadcast at 8pm Monday and Tuesday on Canton City Schools Channel 11, Massillon Cable Channel 21 and 128, Time Warner Cable 989, and WIVM Over the Air 39.1.

Wednesday, August 1:  11am Ribs Burnoff @ Stark County Fairgrounds.  Mix 94.1 welcomes Gin Blossoms live in concert beginning at 8:30pm!  The Mix 94.1 and News-Talk 1480 WHBC crews will be out and about all day long!  Broadcasting live and/or on site:  Pam Cook, Matt Fox, Ron Ponder, Sam Bourquin, Kathy Vogel, Rik Elliot, Kayleigh Kriss and Shawn Powers.
