MASSILLON V. McKINLEY

Who collected the most meals to benefit the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank?  Overall, 9500 meals were collected.   Our winner with 5300 meals is Canton McKinley!  Thank you Stark County!  And a special shout out to students, teachers, administrators who made this event a reality!  Thanks also to our spirit friends at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Mary Ann Donuts, Bonnie's Engravers Gallery and Signs and Mann Marketing Inc.  Cash donations can still be made through the click through below.

Cash donations accepted at akroncantonfoodbank.org.  Just specify which high school you are donating under!

The high school collecting the most meals will receive a day at the Pro Football Hall of Fame, on-air bragging rights on Mix 94.1 and News-Talk 1480 WHBC plus a traveling trophy!

Get your spirit on!  It’s a NEWS-TALK 1480 WHBC & MIX 94.1 FOOD FIGHT "FINALE RALLY"!  It's the last day to collect!  Join Canton’s Morning News team Pam Cook and Todd Porter and Mix 94.1’s Mix 94.1’s Kayleigh Kriss live from our studio front lawn, 550 Market Avenue South, Downtown Canton!  And listen for our Spirit Squad Leaders Shawn Powers and Angela with live reports from each high school!  Stop by and donate items or cash for your favorite team!  And pick up a treat while quantities last!

Saturday, October 27th:
It’s Showtime!  Massillon v. McKinley @ Paul Brown Tiger Stadium 2pm!  Our FOOD FIGHT 2012 WINNER will be announced!   Join Mix 94.1's Rik Elliot and 1480 WHBC Sports starting at 8am for a full day of orange-black-red-black spirit!  Click here for details.
